Bobotov Kuk

CategoryTrail

The big one in Durmitor: 2,523m, a long-day route over karst fields and final rocky ridges. Not technical but genuinely alpine — weather turns fast, chain sections in the last hour. Best done late June through early September with an early-morning start from Sedlo pass.

What we love

  • A route that rewards the effort — views that reorganise how you think about the country.
  • Well-marked and documented enough to attempt confidently, wild enough to still feel earned.
  • Best in shoulder season when the coast is hot and the peaks are clear.
